Just in from Tait Flooring in Melbourne. This stunning new hardwood floor has a 6mm solid European Oak wear layer that is permanently bonded to stable plywood minimising movement.

A stunning new addition to the Tait Flooring collection is a large block parquetry tile 400mm long by 80mm wide. The tile size solves many interior scale issues. Normal parquetry size of 260mm x 65 mm often looks too small in larger spaces.

Hurford Hardwood has released an exciting new 130mm and 180mm x 14mm solid wide board overlay flooring that is specifically designed to be secret nailed and glued.

Tait flooring has now sourced New England Oak in a 180mm wide floor board. This timber is a uniform light tone and has very pronounced grain making it an ideal timber for staining and an ideal substitute for more expensive alternatives such as US Oak.
