Architectural hardwoods
Tait Flooring in addition to a fine range of flooring products offer specifiers a great selection of architectural solid kiln dried hardwood cladding, decking, screening and select linings. The flooring showroom in Glen Iris has an area demonstrating a full range of timbers suitable for decking, cladding, screening and other exterior applications. All Species offered are Durability Class 1 or 2. Please remember exterior products are subject to timber availability.
Decking
Supplied with a moisture content of under 18% all decking timber is fully dressed with pencil round edges. Decking can be inspected a wide timber selection of naturally durable hardwoods in varying widths – 64mm, 86, and 130mm in our showroom display. We also have available a range of thicker 35mm decking for added stability in wider widths up to 180mm wide to achieve a wharf decking look. Simply ring and enquire.

Cladding

Profiles
Shiplap profiles in a slim, medium and wide board make for beautiful cladding. A great selection in

We also have on display a full range of Cedar cladding material from a traditional weatherboard profile to the very linear squared edged channel boarding.
Screening
Square edged or pencil rounded solid timber sections are available in durable species. Screening timbers are typically specified in random lengths. Set lengths are available on special request.

Linings
Timber Stack Panel has been uniquely designed from a selection of hardwoods to form a feature wall that can dramatically transform your internal and external living spaces. Stack Panel is made from hardwood of Grade 1 durability, laminated with top grade epoxy glues. It is derived from eco-friendly sources and is available oiled or raw.
