Tait Flooring have released a new engineered wide Oak Flooring Collection in 4 colours, ebony, lime wash, tobacco and deep smoked and are flat oil finished.
These oak flooring boards are engineered construction with a solid 3mm wear layer bonded to hardwood multi-ply.
The Oak surface wear layer is specifically graded to the highest possible grade giving a blemish free surface that is further enhanced by being wire brushed creating a slight textured finish that holds the stain finish very consistently. The surface is then finished with a flat (10% gloss level) hard oil treatment giving the floor a lovely flat lustre.
This versatile flooring with a finished thickness of 15mm has the advantage of matching up floor height of other floor surface materials such as carpet or tiles and can be laid on any flat surface such as particleboard or plywood.
The flooring can be glued and nailed or floated with a foam underlay. Being precision engineered the boards are stable straight and flat making them quick and easy to lay.

This flooring delivers a hard wearing classic floor without having to sand or coat the floor on site.
